Minizine

This project's focus was to create a mini magazine for our choosing to familiarize ourselves with editorial layout designs. I am a person who loves art and believes that art is a form of therapy. I chose to design this particular minizine within the theme of art therapy. I reached out to a couple of art therapists to get their views on this particular topic. They were very kind in helping me create the editorial pieces that I needed to complete this minizine. I wanted the overall design to have softer tones and not be bold and in your face because Art therapy is about being connected with yourself. This was a challenge for me to complete because it was smaller than a typical magazine. So fitting all the content on the design itself pushed me to try something out of my comfort zone.
