Bodoni Font Poster

Tasked with choosing a font and diving deep into the anatomy and history of the font. Typographic Anatomy is huge in the design world. By creating a poster of a specific font with the history and anatomy we are better able to understand how to properly use the font. This Design approach took me a while to fully gather what I would want for the final design. Choosing the Bodoni font and seeing the year it was created helped me be able to grasp creating a design that felt like an old-time newspaper. I created the background in Photoshop using a photo of vintage paper and a light brown background. Wanting to stray away from a typical old-time newspaper I wanted to really make the headings stand out against the rest of the information.
